The 2019 Pediatric Super group conference was held in Philadelphia this year, and was widely attended by independent pediatricians and nationally acclaimed pediatric experts. Rexer Analytics President, Karl Rexer, assisted Chip Hart, Director of Pediatric Solutions at Physicians Computer Company (PCC) in presenting “Is My Patient Here? The Value of Predicting No-Shows in Physician Practices”,a summary of work that PCC and Rexer Analytics conducted in 2018 and 2019 to find patterns in pediatric patient no-show data. The analyses indicated the key factors in predicting whether patients will attend or skip appointments, and discussed the patient health impact as well as the impact to pediatric practices.
