June 2023: In Vegas at Machine Learning Week, Karl Rexer & Eric Siegel presented the preliminary results of the 2023 Data Science Survey. Highlights included summary of software tools most used by data analytic professionals working in corporate, consulting and academic settings, a discussion of deep learning adoption, job satisfaction, and methods of measuring the success of analytic projects. Karl and Eric ended with the survey results that show surprisingly low model deployment, and a discussion of the issue and impediments impacting model deployment and proposals for improving deployment.
